ADTS / ENGINEERING IN EVERY PIXEL

Questions and answers

Common questions about ADTS hardware, integration and support.

How do we test hardware with our software?

Specify the application, hardware requirements, peripherals and network restrictions. ADTS agrees a configuration and pilot criteria. Compatibility is tested with the selected software version, rather than promised for every application.

What should a technical request include?

Model, hardware revision, software version, symptoms, time of occurrence and steps taken. Do not send passwords or confidential information. Provide a serial number to the specialist if needed for diagnostics.

How do I choose firmware?

The model and hardware revision must match the release scope. Read the changes and recovery instructions. Do not install a build just because the device name looks similar; contact support if unsure.

Where can I find manuals and technical datasheets?

Technical datasheets are available in Documents and model pages. Manuals are published separately by model and revision. If a document is missing, request it from ADTS.

What does the first support response mean?

Registration and an automatic acknowledgement confirm receipt of the request. A specialist handles diagnostics and resolution. Response times and service calendars depend on the project terms.

Do electrical safety documents prove resistance to hacking?

No. Electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility and information security have different assessment scopes. Security requirements are agreed for the model, revision and firmware version.
